This position would involve covering local news, sports, government, business, education and area events while updating our websites daily and breaking news on social media regularly. The position is located in our Wautoma office. The ideal candidate will want to take their skills to the next level while building community relations and possessing excellent news judgment. Also, the right person will work productively in a team setting and will be required to edit submitted releases/photos. A degree in journalism, communications or related field of study is preferred but not required. Ability to do photography is a plus. We are looking for the right person that is passionate about hyper-local news reporting and is familiar with Wautoma and the Waushara County area.
