DE PERE – AmeriLux International and Brett Martin have formed the joint venture, American Polycarbonate Company (APC), to manufacture polycarbonate sheets at AmeriLux’s new 500,000 sq ft state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution center in De Pere.

“APC combines AmeriLux’s distribution, fabrication and logistics expertise with Brett Martin’s 60 years of sheet extrusion experience to meet rising demand for high-quality building materials, faster lead times and efficient domestic supply chains,” an AmeriLux release stated.

“Both family-founded, privately held companies share values of integrity, long-term thinking and sustainable growth. Founded in 2004, AmeriLux thrives on entrepreneurial partnerships and a “consider it done” mentality. Established in 1958, Brett Martin has grown from a family operation into a global leader while maintaining its commitment to quality.

“APC will produce globally competitive polycarbonate sheets for construction, agriculture, horticulture, data processing and architecture, featuring advanced glazing for safety and energy efficiency. Enhanced fabrication and sustainability focus will ensure fast delivery, customized solutions, and exceptional service, backed by over 80 years of combined plastics expertise.”
“This joint venture marks our commitment to long-term engagement in the US market and a recognition that dedicated local manufacturing, and service provides the optimum package for American customers. By uniting our technical extrusion expertise with AmeriLux’s customer-centric distribution model, Brett Martin and AmeriLux are creating a platform that delivers innovative, high-quality products while upholding shared values,” explained Paul Martin, group director of Brett Martin Ltd.

“Simply put, we are chasing our potential,” added Kurt Voss, CEO of the AmeriLux Family of Companies.

“This joint venture is a testament to the strength of family-owned businesses partnering for mutual success and sustainable progress. APC will not only enhance our ability to supply polycarbonate sheets produced in the United States, but it also reinforces our commitment to building lasting relationships with customers, employees and the community. This is the definition of a win-win.”

APC’s initial production will include multiwall and corrugated polycarbonate sheets of varying gauges and specifications, with plans for expansion and R&D to develop new products for evolving market needs.

Operations will begin in early 2026.
