Name:
Sandi Noel

Medium/Art Form:
Visual

When and how did you start making art?
About 25 years ago, my friend encouraged me to put color in my drawings and I joined her in her art class with a local artist.
The rest is history, I fell in love with oils.
From there I took classes with well known artists in Madison, Milwaukee and Green Bay, learning something new from each one.

What inspires your work?
Just trying to copy all of nature’s beauty.

How would you describe Green Bay/NE Wisconsin’s arts community?
There are a few nice galleries here, but they aren’t as recognized or advertised as much as they should be to promote all the wonderful talented artists in our area.
We need more places for amateur artists to work and show their work.
Green Bay is more than just the Packers after all.

What is the best advice you have for other artists?
Just keep trying new things.
Join art groups like Arts Unlimited, and don’t give up.
Make time to do art

Where can people find your work?
The Art Garage
