When and how did you start making art?
What inspires your work?
People, places and things inspire my work.
They include gardens, faces, artists, art calls, art supplies, art classes, animals, birds and humor.
How would you describe Green Bay/NE Wisconsin’s arts community?
The arts community in Green Bay is thriving, competitive, abundant, eventful and supportive.
What is the best advice you have for other artists?
It’s the same advice given by Andy Warhol: “Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.”
Where can people find your work?
People can find my work at a number of local venues including The Art Garage (currently the Wind exhibit), One of One Gallery, 365 Main Ave. in De Pere, various art fairs, the Nativity Church Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 19, and coming soon to Art-O-Mat machines.
