Charles F. Schroeder, 83, Allouez resident, died Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at a local care facility. He was born August 12, 1941, in Green Bay to the late Otto and Helen (Rollman) Schroeder. Charles lived his entire life in Allouez.

Charles married Peggy Berg on March 9, 1968, in Winona, Minnesota at Central Lutheran Church. He served in the US Army Reserves for six years.

His first love was Schroeder’s Flowers. He dedicated his life to seeing the company prosper and grow. Charles taught many young employees the value of hard work and doing their best at everything you do. For many years Schroeder’s participated in a foreign horticultural exchange program, having over 300 students from many different countries learn how Schroeder’s grew plants and operated their greenhouses.

Charles really cared about people and was always willing to help when needed. He enjoyed traveling to different parts of the United States and the world. Meeting people and seeing how they live and work, he felt it was something everyone should do to better appreciate what we have and understand the world a little better.
