Envision Greater Green Bay hosts fifth annual World Futures Day

GREEN BAY – Envision Greater Green Bay will host its fifth annual World Futures Day, a global initiative designed to facilitate thought and discussion on the future’s challenges, opportunities and responsibilities.

Envision Greater Green Bay is a respected, tax-exempt nonprofit led by a dedicated volunteer board of directors, whose role is to be the community’s strategic compass.

They rely on resources such as business, the government, academia, and nonprofits, and encourage change using proven strategies.

“We accomplish this work by providing strategic foresight analysis workshops, consultation to local businesses and non-profit organizations, and connecting those who have been trained with this foresight lens with each other.”

Envision Greater Green Bay is a catalyst in its field and a unique inspiration for cities all over the country to become more proactive for their own communities.

They create a safe and supportive environment that strives towards developing opportunities and improvement in every area that guarantees quality of life. After operating for over three decades, they have built up a sturdy, respected reputation, and will continue to work for the benefit of Green Bay.

“Envision Greater Green Bay is excited to host our 5th local celebration of World Futures Day. As one of the only communities in the nation engaging in futuring on a community-wide level, this day gives us an opportunity to showcase the work of our five Signals Teams and focus on what will aid Green Bay in becoming a community of choice. Garry Golden, our keynote speaker, is sure to stimulate participants to envision an even better Greater Green Bay. We also have five Signal Teams that scan for signals of change in various aspects of our community. The work of these Signals Teams will be highlighted at this year’s World Futures Day. It promises to be an amazing celebration!”
