Elizabeth Clark was raised in Green Bay and recently moved back “home” to Hobart after going through a divorce.
“I’m a domestic abuse survivor and started a beaded bracelet business called Peace Love Lotus,” Clark said. “I make custom, “feel-good” bracelets to empower women and girls. For the month of October, I’m donating all of my profits to the Golden House of Green Bay to help other domestic violence victims. Each day, I post a bracelet on my Facebook and Instagram pages with a quote and a resource to help victims get support or heal from the trauma.”

Founded as Lost Lake Beads during the COVID shutdown in May 2020, Clark originally started making bracelets with her daughter to help friends and family feel loved during that chaotic time.
She said the business has always been about showing support and love to one another, but in July she rebranded her business as Peace Love Lotus to change her focus to empowering women and girls and to help victims of domestic violence.
“I came up with Peace Love Lotus after struggling through a divorce and going through a process of healing and re-inventing myself,” Clark said. “One of the first things I did was get my first and only tattoo of a lotus flower. The flower meant so much to me. The lotus flower symbolizes strength, resistance, overcoming obstacles and hard times and growing back with more energy. I’ve always been a spiritual person, so rebranding with the lotus in my business name meant so much to me. I think it would mean a lot to other domestic violence victims too.”

While she’s not currently selling at the farmers markets, her bracelets are available at the Plaid Bear in St. Germain, the Copper Mug in Marathon, Barnwood Coffee Company in Two Rivers and she will soon be selling locally at the Flower Pot in Green Bay.
She also sells directly through her Facebook and Instagram pages @peace.love.lotus
