GREEN BAY – The Harlem Globetrotters are making a stop in Green Bay for their historic 100 Year Tour.
On Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 7 p.m. the Harlem Globetrotters will be performing their world-renowned tricks, flips and dunks at the Resch Center in Green Bay as a part of their centennial celebration tour.
The Harlem Globetrotters started their long storied history just south of Wisconsin in Chicago in 1926 as a means to showcase the prominent talents and athletic abilities of black basketball players excluded from performing in the NBA.
Eventually their talents evolved into a unique showcase of tricks and display of skills for a comedy-infused performance that gained them national recognition.
The players will be displaying their special 100 year jerseys during their performance against their rival Washington Generals.
Fans can get access to the full fan experience with additional options such as the pre-game on-court magic pass, the celebrity court pass during pre-game warm-ups or the VIP bench ticket.
