James (Jim) Schumerth, age 94, of De Pere, passed away on February 3, 2026. The son of the late Joseph and Loretta (Ehnerd) Schumerth was born on December 17, 1931. Jim served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army from 1951-1953. He married Eva Aerts on April 28, 1956.
Family and friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 10:00 am until 10:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Jim at 11:00 am with Rev. Jason Blahnik, officiating. Interment at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
