Neither team was able to score after the safety which led to an overtime period.

I talked to Red Devils head coach Jashawn Witt after the tough loss to the Ships. “I’m trying to get them to understand that even though the outcome isn’t the way we wanted, we’re still trying to find that bounce back, that momentum, that energy all those types of things,” said Green Bay East Head Coach Jashawn Witt.

Jashawn Witt also discussed what he thinks needs to improve before next week. “Special teams, being consistent those types of things,” said Witt.

Next week the Green Bay East Red Devils will look to bounce back at home against the Oshkosh North Spartans (3-4 overall). The Red Devils will look to have success in their last two games of the year.

For the Manitowoc Lincoln Ships they’ll look to capitalize on their success next week on the road against the Sheboygan North Golden Raiders (3-4 overall).
