New video captures Jayden Reed’s return to the field

GREEN BAY - Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed gave fans a closer look at his return to action in a new behind the scenes video on his YouTube channel. The feature follows Reed as he steps back onto the field after missing nearly three months with a fractured collarbone and a Jones fracture in his foot. The early season injuries took one of Green Bay’s most dynamic playmakers off the field and created a gap in the offense that the team struggled to replace.

Reed’s return matters so much to the team because of what he has already shown in his young career. He led the Packers in catches and receiving yards in each of his first two seasons, quickly becoming Jordan Love’s most trusted slot target. His speed across the field and ability to create yards after the catch give Green Bay an added element to its already dynamic offense.

In the video, Reed reflects on being back. “It feels great man. Thank you to the man above allowing me to come back and play the game I love.” Before kickoff, he focused on staying true to his style of play. “Just be myself, go out there, play free, confident, and just play hard, you know, be the player I am.”

Reed made an immediate impact in the rivalry game against Chicago. On the first drive, he picked up five yards on a quick throw, followed by a seven yard gain on an end around. Later in the first quarter, he added another short reception to keep the offense moving. His biggest contribution came in the third quarter when he ripped off another 15 yard end around to push the Packers into Bears territory. In the fourth quarter, he pulled in an 18 yard catch down the sideline, setting up another touchdown for the Packers. Reed finished the afternoon with six touches for 53 yards in his first game back, showing the versatility that defines his role in this offense.

Reed also opened up about the recovery itself, describing it as a long emotional climb. “The last three months has been like a roller coaster, some days better than others, but it’s all been a blessing because it’s all got better over time.” His mother, featured in the video, adds perspective on how difficult the injury stretch was for the family and how proud she is of his resilience through the process.

With Reed healthy again, the Packers look ahead to the final stretch of the regular season. Green Bay still faces key matchups against teams Reed has produced well against, including the Ravens, Broncos, Vikings, and the Bears again. In recent games, Reed has scored against all but the Ravens, who the Packers have not played since he was drafted. His ability to win in the slot and create easy throws for Love will be important as the Packers push for the NFC North title.

Reed plans to share more personal and behind the scenes content throughout the season. The full video, directed by Ty Marion and produced by TradeMark Sports and Entertainment, is available on his YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/@JaydenReed.
