More Than $400,000 in Scholarships Awarded to Local Students
GREEN BAY — The Greater Green Bay Community Foundation announced that more than $400,000 in scholarships have been awarded to students from Northeastern Wisconsin pursuing post-secondary education.
Those scholarships came from the Community Foundation’s 42 scholarship funds, made possible by donors who desire to support students’ pursuit of higher education and break down the financial barriers which may otherwise prevent them from doing so.
Ebben Joins Bellin Health Titletown, Marinette
GREEN BAY — Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine and Orthopedics has added orthopedic surgeon Dr. Beau Ebben to its healthcare team.

Dr. Ebben will split his time as a foot and ankle expert seeing patients at both Bellin Health Titletown in Green Bay and Bellin Health Marinette, bringing with him his expertise in a variety of areas including foot and ankle surgery, orthopedic sports medicine, orthopedic surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
After earning his Medical Degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Dr. Ebben completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.

GREEN BAY — The city of Green Bay, Clean Wisconsin and The Farmory will host a workshop Tuesday, Sept. 6, for local business owners.
Feedback from participants in this event will help inform flood resilience planning efforts by the City of Green Bay.
Three-month closure of WIS 96 in Brown County
BROWN COUNTY — A full closure and detour of WIS 96 between the town of Greenleaf and the village of Denmark began Monday, Aug. 29.
This closure is part of the ongoing WIS 96 Project to improve 14.66 miles of WIS 96 by resurfacing, replacing culverts and box culverts, adding rumble strips and more.

The Greater Green Bay Labor Council’s AFL-CIO Community Services Program will sponsor a Labor Day event on Monday, Sept. 5, at Bay Beach.
This event for working men and women and their families is put on to celebrate Labor Day and the social and economic achievements of American workers.
The event will run from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Food and refreshments will be provided, as well as game and ride tickets for kids.
Admission to this event is $10 for adults and kids ages 13-20, $5 for kids ages 3-12 and free for children under three. A package deal is available for families — $25 for two adult tickets and up to four kids tickets.
