How has the balance between academics and athletics changed for you from freshman to senior year?
It’s definitely gotten more difficult as the years have gone by because I’ve gotten a lot more serious about swim while I am also in honors classes that require work outside of the classroom.

What is your favorite part about this sport? What is the most challenging part about this sport?
My favorite part about this sport is the feeling it gives me when I reach my goals and when I get to see my teammates reach their goals.

The most challenging part of this sport is having a good mental attitude all the time. It really hard to get out of your head before races especially if you aren’t swimming your best.

What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
My most memorable experience in high school swim was our bus rides to away meets because we always bring a speaker on the bus, blast the music and sing together to get excited for the meet.

Do you have a bucket list goal that pertains to your sport?
I want to make it to state this year in the 100 Fly.

How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?

Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?
I do yoga, pray and drink an Alani.

Dream vacation destination?
Paris to see the Eiffel Tower.

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength”.

Pasta salad.

Sandlot, The Office.

My club coach, Dave and my high school coach, Kari.

Future Plans? (college, major, career, etc.)
I am committed to UW-Oshkosh for swimming where I’ll be majoring in nursing.
