How did you get started playing your sport?
I started running track during middle school for fun with my friends and found out I was pretty good at it, so I decided to do track as well as cross country once I got to high school.
How has the balance between academics and athletics changed for you from freshman to senior year?
I’d say the biggest change has been having to balance the continued increase in time towards athletics while still being a good student.
What is your favorite part of this sport?
My favorite part of running is the individualism of it because you can control what you get out of the sport and you can’t blame anyone else.
What is the most challenging part of this sport?
I’d say the most challenging part is the mental side and being able to handle pain over long periods of time.
What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
Do you have a bucket list goal that pertains to your sport?
I would love to go under four minutes in the mile.
Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?
I do the same warm up routine before every race.
Dream vacation destination?
Italy.
Favorite food?
Sushi.

Any hobbies outside of your sport?
I love to hangout with friends and be outdoors.

Continuing running track and cross country at UW-Madison and I’m planning to major in business.
