How did you get started playing your sport?
I started basketball in fifth grade because I had friends in the sport, and I started track in 7th grade because my dad recommended it.
How has the balance between academics and athletics changed for you from freshman to senior year?
As a freshman it took awhile to get used to prioritizing academics while playing sports. As I got older I definitely got better with time management allowing me to have a good balance of time for academics and athletics.
What is your favorite part of this sport?
My favorite part of these sports are all the friendships I’ve made.
What is the most challenging part of this sport?
The nerves before a track meet.
What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
Do you have a bucket list goal that pertains to your sport?
Hitting new pr’s in all my events this year.
Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?
I always drink a propel before a basketball game or track meet.
Dream vacation destination?
Maldives, Thailand or Bora Bora.
Favorite food?
Chicken tenders.
Random fun fact about you?
Any hobbies outside of your sport?
Going to the lake, pickleball, and hanging out with my friends
Favorite movie/TV show?
Moana.
Looking forward to most about graduating?
Summer break and meeting new people in college.

Mr. Kamps (track coach), Mrs. Goodness (track coach), Coach Mac (basketball coach) and all the girls I’ve played basketball with throughout the years that have made the experience so enjoyable.
