This season Czachor and her team, the De Pere Redbirds, won the Fox River Classic Conference with a record of 20-3-1.
How long have you been playing soccer? How did you get started?
I have been playing soccer for about 14 years. My older sisters played and I wanted to play like them.
What is your favorite part about the sport?
Spending time with my teammates.
So far, what has been the most memorable game of your career?
The sectional semi-final game last season against Appleton North when we won in overtime on our home field.
What is your favorite soccer memory?
Making it to state last year.
Who is a soccer player you look up to and why?
Luka Modric who plays for Real Madrid, because he is such a creative and intelligent midfielder.
Do you like playing games in the rain/snow, or would you prefer bright and sunny games?
I would love it to be warm and sunny. I am the biggest wimp with the cold and my teammates think it’s funny how much I bundle up during cold games.
What is the most important thing soccer has taught you?
The ability to balance hard work, intensity and having fun playing the game.
Do you have any plans to continue playing soccer after high school?
I hope to join the women’s club team next year at the University of Utah.
Do you have any superstitions or pre game rituals?
I listen to Taylor Swift and other songs to hype myself up for games.
What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of sports?
I love to ski in the winter and do other outdoor activities like hiking.
Have you ever played any other sports?
I’ve played a few different sports for De Pere like cross country, basketball, golf and tennis.
What is your favorite TV show to binge watch?
I love New Girl and The Office.
What do you plan to major in? What are your future career plans?
I plan on majoring in business at the University of Utah.
