GREEN BAY – Green Bay Packers players and staff took part in the “My Cause My Cleats” initiative as the team took on the Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving night.
“The NFL initiative encourages players across the league to wear customized cleats on gameday to raise awareness for their hand-picked causes and show their support for numerous nonprofit organizations around the country,” a Packers release stated.
“At the conclusion of the campaign, participants can raise money for their cause by auctioning their cleats on NFL Auction. Fans are invited to bid on the game-worn cleats. All funds raised will be donated to each player’s selected charity.
