Pass It Forward internship program spotlight: Kana Coonce

I’m currently working as the associate editor at Wausau’s City Pages.

On top of writing the content that goes in every issue — news briefs, event highlights, weekly feature articles, and local business features for our Buzz section — I proofread the publication, put together additional seasonal publications and manage the Wausau City Pages website and social media account.

I was in the Pass It Forward program for a year as a student at UW-Green Bay.
It was a great way to meet new people and dip my toes into writing in a professional setting.
