Pass It Forward internship program spotlight

Mallory now works at WLUK-TV FOX 11

Soon after graduating from UW-Green Bay, I started working at WLUK-TV FOX 11 as a digital news and content producer.

In my role, I write the articles you see on FOX 11’s website and news app, proofread and copy edit our reporters’ stories, create social media posts and cut long-form and short-form videos for digital use.

I work closely with our anchors, reporters, producers, video editors and other members of the newsroom to ensure market-leading coverage both on-air and online.

Interning with The Press Times gave me a chance to hone many of the key journalism skills I now use daily in my job at FOX 11.

From writing and storytelling, to copy editing and proofreading, the hands-on experience I gained through the Pass It Forward Program has been invaluable.
