Rock the Commons to take place this Saturday after weather-related postponement

Posted

The Howard Commons Activity Complex is inviting the community to attend for the rescheduled Rock the Commons concert featuring Big Mouth on Saturday, July 25, from 5-9 p.m. for an evening of live music, food and family-friendly fun.

The event was originally scheduled for July 18 but was postponed due to poor air quality caused by wildfire smoke.

With the last-minute change, organizers want to make sure everyone knows they have another chance to enjoy one of Howard Commons’ signature summer events.

“We’re excited to welcome everyone back after last week’s postponement,” said the Director of Howard Commons Lisa Swan. “We know the schedule change happened quickly, and we don’t want anyone to miss out on a great night of music, food and summer fun.”

Guests are encouraged to come early and stay all evening.

Activities include drinks in the Biergarten from 3-9 p.m., roller skating, bounce houses, face painting and live music.

A variety of food trucks will be on site serving up something for everyone, including Home Field Kettle Corn, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Los Magueyes Mexican Restaurant, The Valley Raspas, Boba Bloom, 888 Cheese & Co., Northern Sips, Mobile Coqui Café, Munchies of Green Bay and Big Cheddar Eats.

Rock the Commons is free to attend and takes place at the Howard Commons Activity Complex, 550 Commons Pl. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening outdoors with family and friends.
