The public is invited to don their best Derby gear and head to Green Bay’s Broadway District for the annual Run for the Roses Wine Walk this Saturday, May 3, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
This event will feature 20 wine stops with samples and light food pairings throughout the Broadway District.
Wine Walk participants are encouraged to dress in their Kentucky Derby best, including themed outfits and fancy hats, suits, dresses and pearls.
Participants are encouraged to also take the opportunity to shop for the latest springtime products at the many boutiques, retail shops and restaurants along the route as the travel through the Broadway District.
New this year, the horse-drawn carriage rides that have appeared at other On Broadway, Inc. events will be debuting at this year’s Run for the Roses Wine Walk, adding some horse-themed fun to the Derby-themed event.
The carriage will be available to hop onto at different points throughout the Broadway District and is included with the purchase of an event ticket.
Wine Walk tickets include a souvenir glass, build-your-own flower bouquet courtesy of Petal Pusher, a map to guide you to your 20 wine stops and complimentary snacks throughout the walk.
