Run Run Rudolph through downtown Green Bay

On Saturday, Dec. 13, Golden Made Events will host the Run Run Rudolph Fun Run presented by TDS Fiber. The two have been working on logistics and getting ready for a fun day for the whole family while staying active and joining in the community Christmas cheer.

The “race” starts at 11 a.m. and consists of a one-mile fun run through downtown Green Bay.

“Participants can run, walk, jog or skip their way through the mile and have fun with it. Bonus points if dressed in holiday and festive gear!” said Golden Made Events Owner Allie Thut-Connelly. “The event is also $13, so it’s economical and a fun way to get the family out and active, but also enjoy all that downtown Green Bay has to offer this day.”

What started as an idea to bring people out into the community to enjoy the holiday season has flourished into Run Run Rudolph, a fun, accessible and active day for anyone to enjoy.

“Participants can expect a morning full of holiday cheer. With registration, they will get their own headband antlers to wear during the fun run,” said Thut-Connelly. “After the event they can visit and snap a photo with the live reindeer or Santa onsite, grab a hot beverage from Caribou Coffee, sugar cookies from Uncle Mike’s, go inside TDS Fibers igloo, visit with Emplify Health’s Little Empathy, head over to the Christkindlmarket on Broadway that is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day, and learn more about the Red Kettle campaign with The Salvation Army and how to donate and get signed up to bell ring yet this season!”
