GREEN BAY – Head Coach Will Ryan completed his first recruiting class as head coach of the Green Bay men’s basketball program

Ryan inked three in-state standouts on National Signing Day Nov. 11.

Kamari McGee (Racine), Brayden Dailey (Cuba City) and Cade Meyer (Monroe) will all join the roster next season.

"After being named the head coach at Green Bay in the middle of June, as well as recruiting during a pandemic, I'm pleased with how quickly and thoroughly our staff was able to build positive and trusting relationships with three tremendous young men and their families," said Ryan. "We feel Kamari, Brayden and Cade have high ceilings and extremely bright futures wearing the green and white. We are excited about the addition of this trio of Wisconsinites.”

McGee, Meyer and Dailey are considered three of the top-10 players from Wisconsin in the 2021 class.

"Last summer, before being hired at Wheeling University, I had the pleasure of coaching Brayden and Cade at Wisconsin's basketball camp,” Ryan said. “I knew then they were the type of student-athletes you dream of coaching.”

McGee, a 6-foot guard from Racine St. Catherine’s High School, was fourth-team all-state a season ago.

"We needed a point guard for the 2021 class and Kamari has all the intangibles we were looking for,” said Ryan. “He’s an electrifying, playmaking guard who can create for himself, but more importantly, makes his teammates better. He's a leader, floor general and most importantly, a winner from a successful high school program. Sporting a 4.0 grade-point average (GPA), we know Kamari has a bright future, both on and off the court."

Dailey is a 6-foot-7 forward from Cuba City High School.

He’s a three-time Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association first-team all-state recipient.

"Brayden embodies the true meaning of a student-athlete, as he carries a 4.0 GPA,” Ryan said. “He's a long and athletic guard/forward who will help us inside and out. His versatility to play multiple positions and stretch the defense will be paramount to our success. Playing for the legendary Coach Petitgoue at Cuba City, we feel confident Brayden is prepared to elevate his game even further."

Meyer, a 6-foot-8 forward from Monroe High School, was an honorable-mention all-state selection last season.

"Cade's energy, athleticism and versatility jumped out at me last summer,” said Ryan. “When I took over at Green Bay, I was thrilled to find out he was still available. As an all-state high jumper, he runs the floor like a gazelle. He has the potential to be a match-up problem with his ability to play on the block and the perimeter. His length and athleticism will allow him to guard multiple positions. His dad, Craig, played college basketball for Loyola (Chicago) and Milwaukee."
