Special visitors at The Art Garage

Three adoptable puppies from Lucky 7 Dog Rescue explored the gallery spaces at The Art Garage this week, checking out current exhibits Claws vs. Paws and the Youth Summer Art Exhibition.

Claws vs. Paws is a showdown showcase of artwork featuring cats and/or dogs with the opportunity for artists and gallery patrons to vote for their favorite — artists voted with their submissions and visitors can vote through donations.

Claws vs. Paws will be on display through Aug. 31.

The Art Garage’s Youth Summer Art Exhibition is an annual event allowing summer workshop students to experience showing their work in a gallery with multiple pieces of artwork selected from each summer workshop to curate a show with a variety of student talent and technique.

This year’s Youth Summer Art Exhibition will be on display through Aug. 24 with an artists reception this Saturday, Aug. 23, from 2-4 p.m.
