Casimir Pulaski Days returns March 5-8

Posted

Promote Pulaski and the Casimir Pulaski Days Committee have announced that Casimir Pulaski Days 2026 will take place March 5-8 throughout the Pulaski area.

This four-day celebration honors Pulaski’s rich Polish heritage with music, food, history and community events hosted at multiple locations. Local businesses are encouraged to participate by hosting their own specials and activities to help welcome visitors and celebrate the spirit of Casimir Pulaski Days.

On Thursday, March 5, Promote Pulaski’s “Puzzles and Pints” contest will kick off the celebration at The Barn at Sunset Acres.

Teams of four will compete in assembling a historic Pulaski-themed puzzle.

A limited number of puzzles may be available at the door for walk-in teams, but availability is not guaranteed.

On Friday, March 6, Wicka’s Bar will host one of the most beloved traditions of Casimir Days from 2-6 p.m. — Wicka’s Famous Jam Session.

Musicians from near and far are invited to bring their instruments and join in a lively polka jam session.

Following the jam session, The New Generation Band will play live music at Mountain Bay Bar and Grill from 7-11 p.m.

On Saturday, March 7, the Pulaski Museum will host an open house featuring homemade Polish treats, exhibits highlighting Pulaski’s history and opportunities to visit with local historians and learn more about the community’s roots.

Saturday evening brings one of the weekend’s premier events — the Big Casimir Dance featuring internationally known entertainers Mollie B. and SqueezeBox from 7-11 p.m.

The evening will include competitions for Best Individually Dressed Polish-Themed Costume and Best Casimir Pulaski Costume, basket raffles, Polish food and beverages and a drawing for the Promote Pulaski $5,000 raffle.

On Sunday, March 8, Casimir Pulaski Days will conclude in Krakow at St. Casimir Catholic Church with an 8 a.m. mass and a Polish hearty brunch from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Brunch menus will include homemade pierogies, egg bake, porkies, scrambled eggs, pancakes, kiczka, Polish sausage, haluski, fruit salad, cheesy hashbrowns, chicken soup, paczki, apple pie and beverages.

Live concertina music will be played during the brunch by local musician Zander Raymakers.
