Feed the Duo

How would you describe your music?
Strong emphasis on groove, improvisation, and chemistry between players, paired with a creative and highly unique guitar style. The rhythm playing locks in with the violin in a way that bends genres through both improv and intention, all grounded by soulful, original songwriting

What inspires you to create music?
We’re inspired by that connection between the music and the room, when you can feel the audience locked in and the energy starts feeding both ways. That’s what keeps it exciting and pushes us to create in the moment.

What is your favorite part of performing live?
The exchange of energy between us and the crowd through the music is everything. There’s something really exhilarating about letting yourself be that vulnerable in front of people and feeling that energy come right back at you.

What are you most looking forward to audiences hearing/experiencing at your concert?
Every show is different, it’s never the same. We want people to feel like they went on a journey with us and walk away having experienced something deeper along the way.

The Local Honeys

How would you describe your music?
Folk rock.

What inspires you to create music?
Traditional Kentucky music and lived experiences.

What is your favorite part of performing live?

Connecting with fans and promoting and presenting traditional Kentucky music.

What are you most looking forward to audiences hearing/experiencing at your concert?
Hearing traditional Kentucky music in a modern scene and soundscape.
