How did you get started playing your sport(s)?
I started playing volleyball in seventh grade, and I had heard about it through the girls older than me in middle school.

What is your favorite part of this sport?
My favorite part of volleyball is being able to play a sport I love while having fun with people I love.

What is your favorite part of practice?
My favorite part about practice is how we are always finding ways to have fun. We can be focused but also have the best time.

What is the most challenging part of this sport?
The most challenging part of volleyball is not letting your mistakes get in your head. Volleyball is a game of failure, and it is hard to accept the fact that you will make mistakes; you just have to get past them.

Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?

Going to Chick-fil-A with my best friend.

What is one thing you’d like to be remembered for after you graduate high school?
I would like to be remembered for my positive attitude and hustle on and off the court.

Favorite Halloween costume you’ve ever had?
I was the blue Ninja Turtle (Leonardo).

Favorite vacation you’ve taken?
My favorite vacation I’ve taken was going to Florida with my cousin.

Favorite restaurant?
Margaritas.

Favorite flavor of ice cream?

Moose Tracks.

What is number 1 on your bucket list?
Traveling Europe.

Any hobbies outside of your sport?
I love to hang out with friends and family.

Favorite movie/TV show?
The Greatest Showman.

Looking forward to most after high school?
Playing softball in college.

Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to shout out?

I would love to shout out Tatym Vandenheuvel. She is the best teammate anyone could ever ask for. She makes me smile and laugh every time I am around her. I love her, and the whole team feels the love she gives us.

Future Plans? (college, major, career, etc.)
I plan to play college softball at the UW-Stout Polytechnic and I will be majoring in Forensic Psychology and with a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience.
