Seroogy’s Chocolates welcomes summer with return of Strawberry Meltaway Bars and seasonal sale

To celebrate the start of summer, Seroogy’s Chocolates is bringing back its Strawberry Meltaway Bar by popular demand for a limited time beginning June 21.

First introduced in February as a Valentine’s Day specialty item, Seroogy’s initially produced 3,000 bars expecting inventory to last through the holiday.

Instead, the bars sold out within 24 hours.

Following overwhelming customer demand, the chocolate company continued production and ultimately sold 15,178 Strawberry Meltaway Bars between Feb. 3 and Feb. 14, making it one of their most successful limited-time product launches.

The Strawberry Meltaway Bar features a white chocolate and strawberry flavor Meltaway center enrobed with Seroogy’s signature milk chocolate, creating a smooth, creamy confection that quickly became a fan favorite.

Customers can purchase the bars at Seroogy’s retail locations in De Pere and Ashwaubenon or online while supplies last.

“We knew customers would enjoy the Strawberry Meltaway, but the initial response completely exceeded our expectations,” said Martha Seroogy, president of Seroogy’s Chocolates. “Selling through our original inventory in less than a day was incredible to see, and we’re excited to bring it back so more people can enjoy it this summer.”

The Strawberry Meltaway Bar will be available through Aug. 31.

In addition to the return of the Strawberry Meltaway Bar, Seroogy’s is launching its Summer Sale from June 22 through Aug. 31.

Customers can receive a free item when purchasing two qualifying products at Seroogy’s retail locations.

The promotion features many of Seroogy’s most popular treats, including candy bars, fudge, ginger bites, caramel corn, angel food and more, giving customers the opportunity to stock up on favorites throughout the season.
